Citigroup decided to stay put on a building that once beared their name.  1 Sansome Street, formerly the “Citigroup Center”, is now housing another company that’s soon to move in.

It’s been reported that they are going to be moving out of two floors, making way for another tenant.  This 41 story building has a total RSF of 616,900 and was recently awarded the Gold level LEED certification.  With heavy demand for downtown office and upward pressure from new tech companies, this was probably a no-brainer for Citigroup and the landlord.
