Large Office Closing in the East Bay

It has been reported that a 255,000 SF office space in the East Bay has closed resulting in one of the largest office transactions within the past year.  The six story building, known as the Contra Costa Centre Transit Village was acquired by its current tenant, the California State Automobile Association for a reported $128 million.  This class ‘A’ space was originally built and serviced by Equity Office and has a LEED Gold Rating, meaning that it meets a variety of specifications in regards to energy and water efficiency, as well as other benchmarks for using recycled materials.

This property, which will support over 1000 employees, will be the state headquarters for the CSAA.
